You're having a baby, Congrats! Now what??
You’re going to be a parent! Whether it’s your first, second, fourth or fifth baby, this is a special and important time in your life. I can help you capture this moment with a newborn photography session that you and your family will cherish forever. This is a special and exciting time for you and so finding the right newborn photographer to document your baby in the first couple of weeks of life is an important decision. With your baby’s safety as my number one priority, I will ensure your experience will be relaxing and special. There is quite a lot that goes into newborn photography including a variety of poses as well as props, wraps. My goal is to make your Vancouver newborn photography session as simple and as enjoyable as possible while capturing your newborn in all of their beauty. I’m so excited to work with you!
How far in advance should I book my Newborn session?
As my calendar fills up quickly. I advise contacting me as soon as you have completed your first trimester.
Can you travel to my home for Newborns?
Due to the large number of props, lighting, and backgrounds that I require in a newborn shoot, I am unable to travel to my client’s homes for Newborn sessions that are fully styled (vs. traditional "lifestyle" which i offer as well) I have a beautiful professional photography studio located in downtown Bowling Gree, KY with a comfortable area for you to relax on while I work with your baby.
What is the best age for Newborns?
I prefer to photograph newborns within the first 2 weeks after birth. My favorite days are between 8 – 14 days old. However, I can take ‘older’ newborns should my schedule allow it.
What does the Newborn Session Experience entail?
Newborn photography sessions are scheduled during the first 2 weeks of birth, during the weekdays, mid-morning and are done in my professional baby studio located in Bowling Green. With access to all of my newborn props, hats, and accessories to accent your baby’s photo shoot, you won’t need to bring anything with you! Please plan ahead, and pre-book your newborn photoshoot three to four months in advance to avoid disappointment. I will reserve your due date in my schedule which will guarantee you a session once your baby arrives. As soon as your baby is born you can contact me as soon as possible to schedule in the exact date for the newborn session to take place.
Newborn photography collections are $700 + 6% sales tax
**Please note Newborn sessions are scheduled during the weekdays to start mid-morning and you will need to allow for 2 hours to account for any fussiness**
